Thank you for your interest in Nikki Turner Presents. Please take the time to read the following important Guidelines for Submission of Unsolicited Materials. Please note that we are unable to consider anything that is submitted other than in accordance with these guidelines. Also, by submitting your work, you agree that you have read and understood, and will abide by, the Guidelines, which are as follows:

GUIDELINES FOR SUMBISSION OF UNSOLICITED MATERIALS:

1. You understand and agree that by providing an opportunity for fans to send in their writing for consideration, Nikki Turner Presents (“Nikki”) is not promising to publish anything received or to use any material in any way. There is no confidential or fiduciary relationship entered into by virtue of your submission of materials to Nikki.

2. You understand and agree that Nikki develops and receives numerous submissions and materials, some of which may be similar to your materials in certain respects and/or include ideas that are similar or identical to yours. You will not be entitled to compensation if Nikki uses such materials or ideas originating with Nikki or from any other source independent of your submission.

3. If Nikki is interested in acquiring publication rights in your material, or seeing more of your writing, you will be contacted by Nikki. Subject to paragraph 2 above, no legally protectable portion of your materials will be used unless you have agreed to such use in writing.

4. All submissions must be typed, double-spaced, each page numbered, with the author’s name on each page, with the following exception: If you are incarcerated and have no access to a typewriter/computer, you may send a handwritten synopsis only.

5. Short stories: please send your entire short story manuscript (20,000-25,000 words)
Full length manuscripts: please send the first 4 chapters of your full-length manuscript (75,000-85,000 words), along with a one page synopsis of the plot.

You must include a self-addressed, stamped envelope (SASE) with your manuscript, as well as a cover sheet clearly stating your full name, address, telephone number and email address, if you have one, and the title of your submission. No phone calls please.

7. Only manuscripts submitted in accordance with these guidelines, including the SASE requirement, will be responded to. We make every effort to respond within six months from the date of submission but cannot guarantee a response in this time period.
